Local Facilities

I was brought up in the 60s in Rosyth and recall much better local facilities.  We had a great park then, with tennis courts, a putting green and a magnificently maintained paddling pool for the youngsters.  Locally too, we had a  thriving boys' club and good youth clubs for the local kids. Why did I assume that things would only improve over time?  Surely we could do better than what's on offer now.

Owing to the vandals of the time they burnt down the hut that kept the golf sticks so the council gave up and closed the facillities.The health and safety came in and the boating pond was deemed unsafe. The youth clubs also came to and end due to the trouble of the vandals. But as long as we pay rates to council we are a forgotten back water, look at the Palace buildings for example, it served the village well but now! ug 'Garden City'?
