Adults buying drink for teens targeted in Rosyth police blitz
11 JunePolice in Rosyth are cracking down on adults who buy booze under age drinkers in a new campaign in the town.
The new initiative warns adults they could be prosecuted for helping underage drinkers buy booze illegally.
The Rosyth Community Alcohol Partnership (CAP) will bring the police, licencing standards officers and traders in the town together to help stop adults buying alcohol on behalf of youngsters under 18.
A key aspect of the new initiative will be to break down the barriers between retailers and the enforcement agencies as they work together with the wider community.
