Get on yer bike in safety.

Nice to see the council have added cycle lanes in the park stops all the confusion as 'who has the right of way'. Pity it stops in the section from the park bridge to the Palace although it  restarts again to go up to the Halt Station gives a bit of incentive to get out of the car and get a bit of exercise.

I think allowing cyclists to use footpaths in towns is a mistake.  It is bound to make pavements less safe for pedestrians.  The stretch from Woodside Avenue down to Park Road is an accident waiting to happen.  What cyclists will wish to cycle on the pavement down Queensferry Road when they have to give way at Wemyss Street and Woodside Avenue.  They will be quicker on the road.
