15/12/2009Government cash to help build 35 new council houses in Rosyth
Rosyth is to get 35 new council houses starting in 2010, with Fife council to receive Scottish Government funding to construct the new homes at Castle Road.
The Council is to receive £25,000 per property from the Scottish Government to help to build the new houses. Fife Council is using Kingdom Housing Associations expertise as lead developer for the Fife Alliance by employing them to project manage the new build project. A planning application was submitted last month for Castle Road.
Work on the new homes will start no later than December 2010.
