Major plans for new Rosyth development unveiled

Plans for a major new development have been announced for Rosyth - which could create more than 100 jobs, 250 homes, a 60-bed nursing home, up to six shops, a hotel, and even a new Camdean Primary School.

The proposals are being put forward by Kapital Foundation, a charitable arm of Kinross-based firm Kapital Corporation, which has submitted a proposal of application notice for a site behind Camdean Primary.

Kapital Foundation has outlined plans to develop a "new and exciting sustainable community" at the site, which borders the school, Admiralty Road, Brankholm Brae and Brankholm Burn.

I seem to remember a landfill sight about this area. Can anyone else or do I have the wrong place. That was the days when the bins had to be emptied by hand into the side of the "dustcart"
