Its about time the council decided to build new homes especially for disabled people! I and my partner are both disabled to the extent that we are now struggling with stairs etc.(we are still young,we are 41&42) We have been told we need a bungalow or ground floor flat which must be wheelchair friendly BUT because most bungalows are now privately owned we have no chance of getting 1 also because we need wide doors etc a flat alreadt built is useless so I say a YES to new build disabled houses!!!!! :)
