Police appeal after woman injured in Rosyth street incident
18 JanuaryPolice in Rosyth are appealing for witnesses to an incident in Castlandhill Road in which a woman sustained facial injuries.
A 20-year-old man was arrested shortly after the incident which happened on Saturday 7th January and he appeared from custody at Dunfermline Sheriff Court on Monday 9th January.
Local Community Sergeant Tony Rogers said: "I can confirm that an alleged assault occurred in Castlandhill Road, Rosyth around 3.15pm on Saturday 7th January. I would like to appeal for any witnesses who have not yet been contacted by the police to come forward. I would also like to reassure the residents of Rosyth that incidents such as these are very rare and that police officers spend as much time as possible patrolling Rosyth on foot."
